About The Art of Law School

Hi there. My name is Stephen — and probably like you, I’ve worked my way through the labyrinth that is law school. I founded this website because I remember how confusing and difficult my early law school experience was, beginning with the LSAT and culminating in the anxiety of my first day of 1L.

Law school is an extremely expensive and time-consuming undertaking in today’s world. There was a time when it was less expensive relative to future income, but that’s changed. There’s also a lot of misleading or oversimplified information online about the process. That’s why I started this blog — to share what I actually learned, in plain language, from my own experience.

My hope is that you find something on this site that helps you succeed, no matter what stage of the law school journey you’re in.
